I'm Karolina Rivas, a 2x Emmy-nominated producer based in NYC.

 

Over the past five years at ABC's Good Morning America, I produced 1,000+ videos across branded content, entertainment, breaking news, and human interest stories - working with high-profile talent like BTS, Jessica Alba, Salma Hayek, Channing Tatum, and Olivia Rodrigo. While at GMA, I earned two Daytime Emmy nominations: Outstanding Live News Program (GMA, 2025) and Outstanding Live News Special ("Maui Strong," 2024).

 

I lead every phase of production: pitching and shaping stories, scripting, directing shoots, self-shooting, and overseeing post-production. I love producing across various verticals - I'm equally energized by a breaking news moment, a product deep dive, or getting an interview subject to open up in an unexpected way.

 

Outside of work, you'll usually find me creating content for TikTok, attempting to whittle down my Google Maps saved list (currently at 200+ recs), salsa dancing, or boxing. I like staying curious, active, and close to how audiences actually watch and engage with content today.
